Brighton & Hove Albion get their pre-season campaign underway this evening in Austria, as they take on second tier German opponents Fortuna Dusseldorf at Sportplatz Bischofshofen, kick-off 6pm (local time).

Manager Chris Hughton and his players have been training in Leogang, Austria, since last Saturday and they’ll end their pre-season camp with a first taste of action since the beginning of May.

New signings Pascal Gross and Markus Suttner, who both joined from FC Ingolstadt 04, could make their debuts for the Seagulls, despite the latter only joining up with his team-mates on Thursday.

Albion fans will have to wait to see new goalkeeper Mathew Ryan in action, as the Australian shot-stopper is yet to train with his team-mates, after being given an extended break due to his participation in the Confederations Cup.

Under-23 goalkeeper Robert Sanchez could benefit from Ryan’s absence and feature for the Seagulls in their pre-season opener, with Niki Maenpaa also available to collect some game time.

ALBION (squad from): Maenpaa, Sanchez, Rosenior, Bong, Suttner, Bruno, Huenemeier, Goldson, Dunk, Duffy, Skalak, March, Knockaert, LuaLua, Murphy, Stephens, Sidwell, Norwood, Kayal, Gross, Ince, Towell, Baldock, Murray, Hemed.

Supporters can watch this evening’s friendly live on Seagulls TV, with the game being a multi-camera production with commentary.

To gain full access to Albion’s pre-season games, fans can sign up for a 12-month season pass to Seagulls TV for £45 - which works out at less than £1 per week.
