Brighton & Hove Albion fans attending the club’s final pre-season friendly against Atletico Madrid at the Amex on Sunday 6th August, are advised that the club will not be running their usual free matchday travel service for this fixture.
Fans intending to travel to the game via bus or train must therefore purchase a ticket to travel from the relevant transport provider.
Please note that wherever possible, all fans are advised to get to the stadium as early as possible regardless of how they are travelling.

The club will also publish updated information if and when it becomes available.

Park & Rides
For this match, the usual park & ride services at Mill Road, the University of Brighton will not be open.
Park & rides sites will be in operation at Brighton Racecourse and at Sainsbury’s West Hove.
The Racecourse site will open at 12pm, and with plenty of parking spaces available, there is no need to pre-book, but fans are required to purchase a bus ticket to travel.
The Sainsbury’s site opens at 2pm and with more limited parking here, fans must pre-book their free spaces at Once again, fans must purchase a return bus ticket to travel, even if you choose to park elsewhere.
If booked in advance, return bus travel from both sites costs £3 for adults and £1 for under-18s. Subject to availability, the prices will increase to £5 for adults and £2 for under-18s on the day of the match.

Car Parks
All spaces at Sussex University have now sold out, but a very limited number of spaces are available at The Bridge (Car Park B), and can be done so via

The club has been informed by Southern Rail that they will be operating additional services for this match, but supporters are still advised to check Southern’s website before travelling.

Additional buses and spaces are available to pre-book through Albion's official travel partner, Seagull Travel. Seagull Travel collects from over 120 pick-up locations covering East and West Sussex and surrounding counties. Seats can be booked via

Drop-offs and pick-ups after the match
Please note there will be no pick-ups or drop-offs along Village Way, therefore the club will be opening Car Park 5 (within Car Park C) at Sussex University by the sports hall, to enable fans to be dropped off and picked up before and after the match.
Please note that all vehicles entering Sussex University must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry at Falmer or Knights Gate.
