UNDER-23S FACE NEWCASTLE TODAY

7 January 2017

Simon Rusk's side are in action this lunchtime.

Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s take on Newcastle United at their Little Benton Academy base this lunchtime, kick off 12pm.

Simon Rusk’s side currently sit ninth in the Premier League 2 (Division 2) table and won their last league game 2-1 against West Bromwich Albion in December.

The Seagulls secured a 1-0 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League Cup last time out, with Connor Tighe’s second-half goal enough to secure all three points on Wednesday.

Albion's under-18 players George Bentley, Archie Davies and Max Sanders have all been called up to the under-23 squad that travelled to Tyneside.

You can follow key updates from the game on Albion’s Twitter handle (@OfficialBHAFC) and a match report will be published on seagulls.co.uk.

ALBION (probable squad): Sanchez (GK), Bentley (GK), White, Cadman, Dallison, Hall, Barclay, Davies, Cox, Molumby, Sanders, Bjordal, Ward, Tighe, Tilley.
