UNDER-23S FACE BLACKBURN TONIGHT

30 January 2017

Simon Rusk's side return to league action this evening.

Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s return to league action this evening, as they take on Blackburn Rovers at the Lancashire FA Headquarters, kick-off 7pm.

The Seagulls currently occupy eighth place in the Premier League 2 (Division 2) and sit seven points off the play-off positions, with a game in hand over fifth-placed West Ham United.

Simon Rusk’s team overcame the Hammers with a 3-0 victory in their last league outing, and drew 0-0 with Rovers in October's reverse fixture at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.

After appearing on the bench for the first team at Lincoln City on Saturday, Ben White has travelled to Lancashire, as well as Harry Cardwell, who could start his first league game for the Seagulls.

The striker, who signed on loan from Reading, scored on his debut at Pagham last week, as Rusk’s side ran out 5-2 winners and progressed to the quarter finals of the Parafix Sussex Senior Cup.

You can follow live updates from the game on Albion’s Twitter handle (@OfficialBHAFC) and a match report will be published on seagulls.co.uk.

ALBION (probable squad): Vose (GK), Collings (GK), White, Dallison, Barclay, Hall, Cox, Barnett, Hornby-Forbes, Collar, J.Davies, Hutchinson, Bjordal, Starkey, Tilley, Cardwell.
