Albion's under-23s meet West Ham for the third time this season.

Brighton & Hove Albion defender Liam Rosenior is expected to feature for the under-23s when they return to league action this evening, as they welcome West Ham United to the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, kick-off 7pm.

The 32-year-old should receive some more game time as he continues to build on his match fitness, while under-18s striker Aaron Connolly has also been called upon.

Simon Rusk’s team will be looking to bounce back from successive defeats after losing 1-0 to Newcastle United on Tyneside, before they exited the Checkatrade Trophy at the hands of Coventry City.

The Seagulls currently occupy ninth position in the Premier League 2 (Division 2) and shared a 0-0 draw with the Hammers when the sides met in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

The teams also met in the Premier League Cup in December when Albion ran out 3-1 winners in London, thanks to goals from Jayson Molumby, Jesse Starkey and Joe Ward.

Tickets for the game can be purchased at and cost £5 for adults and £2 for concessions (over-65s and under-21s).

Albion season-ticket holders gain free entry to this evening’s fixture but must book their tickets online. Supporters should select the print-at-home option as there will be no ticket collections.

You can follow live updates from the game on Albion’s Twitter handle (@OfficialBHAFC) and a match report will be published on
