All you need to know ahead of Friday's match.
Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Sheffield Wednesday to the Amex tomorrow, kick-off 7.45pm.
The reverse fixture saw Albion run out 2-1 winners for the first time ever at Hillsborough, with Sam Baldock and Anthony Knockaert on target back in October.
Matchday travel update
A number of travel contingency plans have been made ahead of the game.
This includes an additional park & ride site at Sainsbury’s West Hove, and a separate drop-off/pick-up point for supporters at Sussex University.
The club has been advised that Southern are planning to operate a matchday service, and fans planning to attend the match by train are strongly advised to check the Southern website before travelling to the game.
Park & Rides
An additional park & ride operation from the Sainsbury’s West Hove opens at 6pm, though this is already sold out for this fixture.
The three normal park & rides at Mill Road, the University of Brighton and at the Racecourse will be open as usual at 5pm.
Both Brighton & Hove Buses and Stagecoach will be running their normal weekday operations.
Parking spaces are available for supporters to purchase at the Bridge (Car Park B).
These can be booked at seagullstickets.com for £12, but must be booked in advance.
Those fans who are using the car parks are asked to be patient, and can expect delays of up to an hour after the game.
Drop-Offs & Pick-Ups
Please note there will be no pick-ups or drop-offs along Village Way, due to the large volume of buses and coaches.
Therefore the club will be opening car park 5 (within Car Park C) at Sussex University by the Sports Hall, to enable fans to be dropped off and picked up before and after the match.
Please note that all vehicles entering Sussex University must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry at Falmer or Knights Gate.
Please note that wherever possible, all fans are advised to get to the stadium as early as possible regardless of how they are travelling.
The club will also publish updated information if and when it becomes available.
Additional buses and spaces are available to pre-book through Albion's official travel partner, Seagull Travel. Seagull Travel collects from over 120 pick-up locations covering East and West Sussex and surrounding counties. Seats can be booked via www.seagull-travel.co.uk.
At the time of writing, we have a very limited number of tickets remaining for this fixture.
Fans who have purchased new half-season tickets are advised to check their seats for this game, as some supporters will have been allocated different seats for a selection of home fixtures due to seat availability.
The club’s catering partner, Sodexo, are continuing their early bird offers of any food item and any alcoholic drink for £8, or any food item and any soft drink for £6. These offers are available in the stadium concourses from 6.15pm until 6.45pm.
Piglets Pantry’s Chicken Balti Pie and the Veggie Sausage Roll are the guest items for this game.
In store the winter sale sees several items reduced and bargains to be had. The winter warmer offer of selected hat, scarf and gloves for just £20 is also available. The stadium superstore is open before the match and will close promptly after the game at 10.30pm.
The 7 Stars Sports Bar
Fans can book their spaces in the 7 Stars Sports Bar for Friday’s game for £12. The pass includes lounge access from 5pm.
A free pool and football table are both included in the lounge, with a pay bar serving a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as a kiosk-style bar menu.
The pass also includes a free matchday programme, and visitors in the lounge can take advantage of a more relaxed dress code, allowing trainers and replica shirts to be worn.
To book your place in the 7 Stars Sports Bar, please visit www.seagullstickets.com and login with your fan number, or call 0844 327 1901 (calls cost seven pence per minute plus your network rate).
The 1901 Club
All 1901 Club members are reminded that tickets can be collected from the new 1901 Club members’ office, located opposite North Stand Reception. The 1901 Club lounges will be open from 5.15pm.
For this fixture, the club’s catering partner Sodexo will be running an early bird offer throughout the 1901 Club lounges for those arriving early. 1901 Club members will receive a free pint or soft drink for under-18s with every burger ordered before 6.15pm.
The dress code for the 1901 Club is smart business attire as detailed below:
Clothing: Men must wear a collared shirt or polo shirt, smart jeans may be worn, polo neck sweaters and turtle necks are not permitted. (Under 14s may wear home replica shirts.)
Footwear: Shoes or smart boots must be worn. Trainers, canvas shoes and flip flops are not permitted in the dining areas.
Hospitality guests dining in HB's Restaurant will still be required to wear shoes; trainers will not be permitted in dining areas.
We remind all supporters booking hospitality to ensure that all members of the party attending the match are also aware of the dress code to avoid any embarrassment on the day. Those not wearing suitable dress and footwear may be refused entry and no refunds will be offered.
Those not wearing suitable dress will be relocated into a general admission seating area without lounge access (subject to availability and proof of identity, a reprint charge of £5 per seat applies).
We also ask all members to ensure that any guests attending matches are also aware of these restrictions to avoid any embarrassment on the day.
