The transfer business done by the club so far this month.

With the January transfer window now closed, below is a summary of the ins and outs at Brighton & Hove Albion for the first team, under-23 and women's sides.

31st December 2016: Albion’s first piece of business was announced before the window officially opened, as Elvis Manu completed a loan move to Dutch Eredivisie side Go Ahead Eagles until the end of the season.

4th January 2017:Jack Harper left Albion’s under-23 squad and returned to Spain, signing for La Liga side Malaga for an undisclosed fee.

5th January 2017:Jake Forster-Caskey became the first senior departure from the club, as he agreed a permanent transfer to League One side, Charlton Athletic.

9th January 2017: Jordan Davies became the first player through the doors at the club, signing for the under-23 squad after his transfer from National League side, Wrexham.

10th January 2017:Kazenga LuaLua joined Queens Park Rangers on a loan deal until the end of the current season.

12th January 2017: Jordan Maguire-Drew's loan deal at Dagenham & Redbridge was extended until the end of the season.

13th January 2017: A trio of the club’s under-23 players left the club on loan deals, as Joe Ward, Connor Tighe and Tom Cadman joined Lincoln City, Whitehawk and East Grinstead respectively.

17th January 2017:Simon Rusk continued to bolster Albion’s under-23 squad with the arrival of goalkeeper Billy Collings, who signed on a deal until the end of the season after arriving from Reading.

19th January 2017: Albion women also added to their ranks ahead of the FAWSL Spring Series, as Alessia Russo joined from Chelsea.

21st January 2017:Harry Cardwell was the second player to join Albion’s under-23 squad from Reading on a loan deal until the end of the season.

21st January 2017:Later that same day, Arsenal legend Emma Byrne joined Albion women after leaving the Gunners. The 37-year-old signed a 18-month deal covering the FAWSL Spring Series and the 2017/18 season.

23rd January 2017:Northern Ireland international Laura Rafferty and England under-19 international Jenna Legg further strengthened George Parris’s women’s squad ahead of the FAWSL Spring Series.

23rd January 2017:Jonah Ayunga left the club on a loan deal to Sligo Rovers until next January. He joined the League of Ireland side on a window-to-window arrangement.

23rd January 2017:Fikayo Tomori became the first arrival into the first-team squad, as he arrived on a loan deal from Chelsea until the end of the season.

26th January 2017:Rob Hunt’s loan move to Oldham Athletic until the end of the season was confirmed.

27th January 2017:Lily Agg's departure was confirmed and she joined WSL1 side Bristol City.

30th January 2017:Chuba Akpom became Albion's second first-team signing, after joining from Arsenal on a loan deal until the end of the season.

31st January 2017:Christian Walton was recalled from his loan spell at Luton Town.

31st January 2017: The second piece of business on Deadline Day saw the club secure the services of Glenn Murray on a permanent transfer from AFC Bournemouth.

31st January 2017: Rohan Ince joined League One side Swindon Town on a loan deal until the end of the season.

31st January 2017: The final piece of business on a busy deadline day for the club, saw under-23 midfielder Jesse Starkey leave for Swindon Town on undisclosed terms.
