Watch the game from the club's broadcasting suite.
Brighton & Hove Albion fans are being given the chance to watch the club's home game with Ipswich Town from a unique position in the stadium and with their very own punditry team.
Albion in the Community, the club’s official charity, is auctioning a matchday package that includes watching the Championship game from the North Stand Broadcasting Studio – a vantage point usually reserved for visiting TV experts.
And not only will the winner and their guest be able to watch the action unfold from the usually off-limits seats, they will be joined by former Albion player and current TV pundit Adam Virgo and renowned commentator and Seagulls fan, Peter Brackley.
Brackley is perhaps best known for being the voice of Football Italia on Channel 4 in the 1990s and the early Pro Evolution Soccer games, while Virgo scored one of the Albion’s most memorable goals in recent history – the 120th-minute equaliser against Swindon in the 2004 play-off semi-final second leg. The former Brighton defender and striker is now a regular pundit on TV and radio, having worked for BT Sport, Eurosport, Channel 5 and Talksport.
The winner of the auction will also be given the chance to enjoy a question and answer session with Brackley and Virgo, as well as being given pre-match food and drinks.
Martin Perry, chairman of trustees at AITC and executive director at Brighton & Hove Albion, said, “This is a very rare opportunity for Albion fans to watch a game from our broadcasting studio, which offers a fantastic view of the pitch. Having Peter and Adam hosting the winner and their guest will make it an even more unique experience.
“Not only will the winner have a brilliant time, but they’ll also be helping AITC continue its superb work.”
The game takes place on 14 February and fans have until 9 February to bid online at: www.charitystars.com/foundation/albion-in-the-community
