AGG LEAVES ALBION

27 January 2017

The midfielder's move to Bristol City has been confirmed.

Brighton & Hove Albion can confirm that midfielder Lily Agg has been released by the club and joined Bristol City.

The 23-year-old came through the club’s centre of excellence, and also had spells with Arsenal and Millwall Lionesses during her career. She will now link up with the newly-promoted WSL1 side ahead of the FAWSL Spring Series, which begins next month.

Women’s and Girls’ general manager Kirsty Hulland said, “Lily has achieved a lot here during her time at the club, and was part of the squad that won promotion to the Women’s Super League last season.

“This move is in the interests of all three parties and allows Lily the opportunity to play regularly in WSL1. I would like to thank Lily for all her hard work and wish her well for the future on behalf of everyone at our football club.”
