Albion's game against the Belles will be rearranged.

Brighton & Hove Albion’s FAWSL Spring Series match against Doncaster Rovers Belles at Culver Road has been postponed.

The match, which was due to take place on Sunday 5th March, will now be rearranged after six Albion players were called up for international duty, meaning they would be unavailable for the fixture.

Alessia Russo (England under-19s), Laura Rafferty (Northern Ireland), Sophie Perry (Republic of Ireland), Emma Byrne (Republic of Ireland), Jenna Legg (England under-23s) and Bronwen Thomas (Wales), are all set to link up with their respective national team squads.

As a consequence, the club’s request for a postponement was accepted by the FAWSL Management Committee earlier today.

Meanwhile, Albion's first home FAWSL Spring Series fixture against Oxford United takes place this Sunday 26th February, kick-off 2pm.
