Albion are in Premier League Cup action this afternoon.

Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s take on West Ham United in the Premier League Cup at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre today, kick-off 1pm.

Liam Rosenior has been included in the matchday squad and is expected to make his fifth appearance for the under-23s this season, as the full-back continues to work on his fitness.

Both teams have already qualified for the knockout stages and will be looking to secure top spot in Group E, with Albion needing just a point to finish first, while the Hammers require all three points in the final group game.

Simon Rusk’s team beat Leicester City 2-0 in their last fixture in the competition, as goals from Henrik Bjordal and James Tilley secured Albion’s qualification to the knockout stages.
