The Albion shot-stopper has been recognised for his impressive performances in January.
Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper David Stockdale has been shortlisted for the Championship PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award for January.
The Albion shot-stopper put in a string of impressive displays throughout the month, and saved two penalties in the dramatic 2-1 wins over Fulham and Sheffield Wednesday respectively.
Stockdale will compete with Tammy Abraham [Bristol City], Timm Klose [Norwich City] and Yann Kermorgant [Reading] for the award.
The shortlist was chosen by a panel that included Sky Sports pundits, Paul Merson and Peter Beagrie; Mike Riley, general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials; and Malcolm Clarke, chairman of the Football Supporters’ Federation.
Voting for the Championship award closes at 7pm tonight and the winner will be announced at 10am on Wednesday.
