The defender will continue to work his way back to fitness tonight.

Brighton & Hove Albion defender Liam Rosenior will feature for the under-23s this evening, as they look to secure their qualification in the Premier League Cup against Leicester City at the Stadium tonight, kick-off 7pm.

The full-back played three games for Simon Rusk’s team last month, and will return to the side and look to get another 90-minute appearance under his belt.

The Seagulls occupy top spot in Group E after winning their opening three games in the competition, before narrowly tasting defeat against Nottingham Forest, and need one more victory to secure their place in the last 16.

Albion recorded a 1-0 triumph over the Foxes at the start of January when Connor Tighe’s second-half strike was enough to seal all three points at St George’s Park.

Rusk’s team head into tonight’s game off the back of an impressive 1-0 win over Premier League 2 Division 2 leaders Swansea City, when Harry Cardwell’s early goal decided the game.

Albion season-ticket holders can gain free access to tonight’s game by showing their season-ticket smartcards on the turnstiles.

Prices for non-season-ticket holders on the gate are £5 for adults and £1 for over-65s and under-16s.
