Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s return to Premier League 2 Division 2 action against Fulham at Motspur Park this evening, kick-off 7pm.

Albion coach Simon Rusk will be hoping to see a reaction from his team after their 4-1 defeat to Exeter City in the Premier League Cup on Monday night.

In the Premier League 2 Division 2, however, the Seagulls are unbeaten in their last five matches, including back-to-back away victories against Southampton and Stoke City.

A 1-1 home draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers came in their last league outing, with consecutive 2-2 draws against Blackburn Rovers and Middlesbrough making up the remainder of their unbeaten streak.

The Cottagers claimed a 4-0 win at Motspur Park last season, while the Seagulls sealed all three points with a narrow 1-0 victory in the meeting at the Amex Stadium.

Rusk’s team can leapfrog tonight’s opponents with victory in London, as they currently sit two points and just one place behind Fulham in the league table.

Peter Grant’s team boast an impressive recent record in the league, winning their last five matches - scoring 15 goals along the way.

Albion supporters can follow a live text blog from tonight’s match on the Match Centre, with a match report published after the game.
