Brighton & Hove Albion under-23s return to Premier League Cup action against Exeter City at St James Park this evening, kick-off 7pm.

The Seagulls sit second in Group H after an impressive 5-0 victory in their opening fixture at Sunderland, before losing 3-2 to Hull City in their second game.

The Grecians also have three points after two games, having won 2-0 against Hull before a 2-1 loss to Sunderland in the north east.

Simon Rusk’s team can return to the top of Group H on goal difference with victory in Devon, and the Seagulls are in fine form after going five games unbeaten in the Premier League 2 Division 2.

Albion drew 1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the league last time out, but an impressive 3-2 victory at Stoke City came beforehand, as they bounced back from two goals down to claim all three points.

Supporters can follow a live text blog from St James Park on the Match Centre this evening, with a match report to be published after the game.
