2013/14 SEASON ADDED TO PROGRAMME ARCHIVE

5 December 2017

Programmes from the 2013/14 season.

Now available on the Programme Archive are the 29 issues that came during Brighton & Hove Albion’s 2013/14 Championship season, which ended in play-off semi-final defeat to Derby County.

It was a busy season on the programme front, with 29 games at the Amex - including 23 league games, two FA Cup matches, a League Cup tie, a Championship play-off semi-final first leg and two pre-season friendlies.

The Seagulls came up just short after scraping into the play-offs on the final day of the season at Nottingham Forest, when Leonardo Ulloa scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner.

Oscar Garcia’s team were undone in both play-off games against Derby, losing 2-1 at the Amex before a disappointing 4-1 defeat at the iPro Stadium.

But there were plenty of good memories throughout the campaign - Albion won both fixtures against league champions Leicester City, and also beat second-placed Burnley 2-0 on the south coast.

All programmes were the full 84-pages, apart from the League Cup match against Newport County, FA Cup tie against Reading and the pre-season issues against Norwich City and Villarreal.

Among the regular features was ‘The Big Picture’, where each week a player looked at their life through the camera lens. Other features included ‘The Blaggers Guide’ to our opponents, ‘From the Vaults’ and in the centre pages, a poster of a player.
