Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Davy Propper has become the latest player to receive international recognition, after being provisionally named in the latest Netherlands squad.

Albion’s summer signing is included in Dick Advocaat’s provisional 25-man squad for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers away at France and at home to Bulgaria.

The Dutch face France at the Stade de France in Paris, on Thursday 31st August, before hosting Bulgaria at the Amsterdam Arena on Sunday 3rd September.

Advocaat’s side currently sit third in Group A with 10 points from six games, three points adrift of leaders Sweden.

Propper will discover if he has made the final squad of players next Friday 25th August.

The midfielder has five caps to his name, having made his senior international debut in a friendly against USA back in June 2015.
