This Saturday we celebrate Albion’s Premier League debut against Manchester City with a bumper 132-page souvenir matchday magazine.
We have exclusive interviews with Albion’s new summer signings, while Glenn Murray, Liam Rosenior and Steve Sidwell talk about their experiences of playing in the Premier League and what it takes to succeed at the highest level.
We take an extended look at our visitors from the Etihad Stadium, with contributions from esteemed journalist Guillem Balague, who looks at Pep Guardiola’s first year in English football, and Gordon Smith, who played for both clubs. Adam Virgo also looks back at the last time Albion faced City at Withdean, while Bruno reveals his admiration for a fellow Catalan.
Royal Blood drummer Ben Thatcher and British light heavyweight champion Frank Buglioni look forward to the game, while Connor Goldson reflects on a difficult few months following his heart surgery.
Our extended retro section looks back at the club’s first ever top-flight game, against Arsenal in 1979, with contributions from Brian Horton, Alan Mullery and fans who were present at the Goldstone that day.
For younger fans, keep a look out for a fantastic perforated pull-out – which we’ll have in every issue this season – jam-packed with news, views, quizzes and stats. Then flip it over to reveal the first of this season’s jumbo posters, featuring an Albion first-team favourite.

Chris Hughton, Tony Bloom and Paul Barber also look forward to the season ahead, and with a host of other interviews, features and fantastic photography, it really is a must-read publication that will become a real keepsake for years to come.
Copies of this souvenir issue will sell fast, so make sure you purchase a copy in and around the Amex on Saturday, priced £5.
