Brighton & Hove Albion have found out who they will face in the FA WSL Continental Tyres Cup, after the draw was confirmed on Wednesday.
Albion have placed in Group Two in the Southern Section of the draw, alongside Chelsea, Bristol City, Tottenham Hotspur and Yeovil Town.
The Seagulls will play each team once in the group stages. If a match ends in a draw after 90 minutes, then a penalty shootout will take place.
The points in the group stages will be distributed as follows:
•Teams will receive three points for winning a group game in 90 minutes
•Teams will receive two points if a group game is drawn after 90 minutes and they win the penalty shootout
•Teams will receive one point if a group game is tied after 90 minutes and they lose the penalty shootout
The top two teams in each group progress to the quarter finals of the competition.
The competition will also introduce the use of a fourth substitute that can be utilised during extra time of the knockout games if the match progresses beyond 90 minutes.
The final is set to take place on the weekend of 10th/11th March 2018.
