Brighton & Hove Albion can confirm that defender Charley Boswell has left the club.

Boswell was the longest-serving player at the club, after she graduated through the centre of excellence and played a key role in the side’s promotion winning season in 2015/16.

Albion’s women’s and girls’ general manager Kirsty Hulland said, “Charley leaves Albion having created history here.

“She has been a tremendous servant to the club, and is a perfect example of how anyone in our centre of excellence can rise up through the ranks and reach our first-team squad.

“On behalf of everyone here, I would like to wish Charley all the very best for the future.”
