Brighton & Hove Albion can confirm that goalkeeper Faye Baker has left the club.

Baker arrived at the club from Gillingham in 2014, and became a mainstay between the sticks, playing a prominent role in Albion’s 2015/16 promotion-winning season.

Albion’s women’s and girls’ general manager Kirsty Hulland said, “It is sad to see Faye leave us, but we respect her decision to further her career elsewhere.

“She achieved a lot in her three years here and was also a popular player amongst the fans too.

“On behalf of everyone at the football club, I would like to wish Faye all the very best for the future.”
