There was league action today for a number of Albion's on-loan youngsters, with Jordan Maguire-Drew and Tyler Hornby-Forbes both coming off the bench for their debuts with Lincoln City and Accrington Stanley respectively.

Maguire-Drew made his league bow in the 80th minute of Lincoln's 2-2 drew at Wycombe Wanderers - where one former Seagull Adam El-Abd was lining up in defence for the home team, on his debut for the Chairboys.

Hornby-Forbes and Tom Dallison were both named as substitutes for Accrington Stanley's home game with Colchester United, and Hornby-Forbes was a 74th-minute sub in his side's 3-1 win.

Elsewhere, Ben White was on the bench for Newport County's 3-3 draw at Stevenage in League Two; while Christian Walton kept a clean sheet in his first competitive appearance for Wigan, as they won 1-0 at MK Dons.

Oliver Norwood played just over an hour in Fulham's game against Norwich City, which saw the Canaries score very late on to salvage a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage.

Rob Hunt, who left Albion for Oldham in the summer, played in their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Oxford United; while Chris O'Grady made his debut for Chesterfield in an ill-tempered affair which saw them go down 3-1.

Result of the day went to former Albion assistant manager Nathan Jones, now manager at Luton Town, who hammered Yeovil Town 8-2 at Kenilworth Road.
