Albion's under-23s are looking to secure a place the Premier League Cup semi-finals.
Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s take on Swansea City in a Premier League Cup quarter-final tie at their Landore Training Ground this afternoon, kick-off 2pm.
The Seagulls reached the quarter finals after convincingly beating Huddersfield Town 3-1 at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, when goals from Connor Tighe, Jordan Davies and Will Collar secured victory.
Albion progressed to the knockout stages after topping Group E with 15 points, as they won five out of six games, only narrowly losing to Nottingham Forest 2-1 after playing 85 minutes with ten men.
An emphatic 7-0 home win over Forest got things underway, before back-to-back victories on the road against West Ham United and Leicester City followed, as they won 3-1 and 1-0 respectively.

A 2-0 success over the Foxes at the Checkatrade.com Stadium strengthened Albion’s position at the top, which was then sealed after beating the Hammers 3-0 in the final group fixture.
Premier League 2 (Divsion 2) champions Swansea City finished second in Group A behind Newcastle United, but progressed to the last eight with a 2-0 home victory over Blackburn Rovers.
The sides have been evenly matched in their two league meetings this season, with both teams winning their respective home games by a 1-0 scoreline. Harry Cardwell’s early strike gave the Seagulls a hard-fought win back in February.
