TRAVEL PLANS FOR WIGAN MATCH CONFIRMED

13 April 2017

The latest travel plans ahead of Monday's game.

Brighton & Hove Albion can confirm the travel arrangements that have been made ahead of the home match with Wigan Athletic next Easter Bank Holiday Monday, kick-off 3pm.

The club has been informed by Southern Rail that they will be operating a full matchday service, but supporters are still advised to check Southern’s website before travelling.

Please note that wherever possible, all fans are advised to get to the stadium as early as possible regardless of how they are travelling.

The club will publish updated information if and when it becomes available.

Park & Rides

The three park & rides at Mill Road, the University of Brighton and at the Racecourse will be open at 11.45, with the first buses departing at 12.00. Additional buses have also been put on for this fixture.

Due to a Bank Holiday Market being held at Brighton Racecourse, the supporters’ parking area will be relocated, meaning entry to the park & ride side shall be via the main entrance on Freshfield Road. Stewards will direct supporters to their parking locations.

Disabled Blue Badge holders will be parking on the hard standing car park.

As a consequence of these changes, buses will be picking supporters up from further down the road, so please follow directions from the stewards once you exit your cars.

For the return journey, buses will enter via the Garden Centre entrance and drop supporters off at the normal point.

The buses will then continue on to the main entrance, where disabled supporters have parked.

BLUE BADGE SUPPORTERS WHO HAVE PARKED ON THE HARD STANDING MUST NOT LEAVE THE SERVICE UNTIL THE SECOND DROP OFF POINT.

Please note that all sites must be cleared within two hours of the final whistle.  Any vehicles that are not moved, may be removed at the owners' expense.

Car Parks

A limited number of spaces at The Bridge (Car Park B) are available to purchase and can be done so via seagullstickets.com.

Seagull Travel

Additional buses have been secured through Seagull Travel and spaces are available to pre book via the Seagull Travel website.

Drop Offs & Pick-ups after the match

Please note there will be no pick-ups or drop-offs along Village Way.

Therefore the club will be opening car park 5 (within Car Park C) at Sussex University by the sports hall, to enable fans to be dropped off and picked up before and after the match.

Please note that all vehicles entering Sussex University must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry at Falmer or Knights Gate.
