The Seagulls encourage you to wear your colours on Friday!
Brighton & Hove Albion are supporting Football Shirt Friday this week, a campaign for the Bobby Moore Fund that's aimed at raising money for bowel cancer awareness.
Members of staff at the club are being encouraged to wear their Albion colours as part of the club's Let's Do This... campaign - although those staff with allegiances to other teams, will be allowed to wear rival clubs' colours!
The club is also urging local businesses, schools, colleges and other organisations to show their support for both Football Shirt Friday and Let's Do This... and will be promoting some of the best photographs sent in via the Albion's media channels.
The former England captain, Moore, lost his battle with bowel cancer in 1993, and the World Cup winner's charity, in collaboration with Cancer Research UK, is urging people to wear their replica shirts to work this Friday.
Those partaking are asked to donate £2 to Cancer Research, and this donation is possible via text or online; by simply texting Goal002 to 70070* or visiting the Football Shirt Friday page on Cancer Research UK's official website.
And please share you pictures or videos from the day on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #FootballShirtFriday and copying in the club's official social media accounts.
*Texts charged at £2 plus a standard rate text (age 16+, UK mobiles only). Cancer Research UK will receive 100% of this donation.
