Albion's under-23s are in league action tonight.

Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s are in league action tonight when they take on West Ham United at Victoria Road, Dagenham.

Albion will be looking to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat at home to Newcastle United last Monday, and Simon Rusk has named a similar squad to the one that was narrowly beaten by the Magpies.

Tonight’s fixture will be the first of two away games against the Hammers, as Rusk’s men make the journey back to Victoria Road in December for a Premier League Cup match.

Robert Sanchez and Bailey Vose are the two goalkeepers to make the short journey to Essex, while forwards Jonah Ayunga, James Tilley and Jack Harper are all included in the squad. Meanwhile, defenders Ben Hall, Ben Barclay and Thomas Cadman will be competing for a place in the heart of Albion’s defence.
