Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-18s drew 1-1 with Fulham at Motspur Park on Saturday.
Fulham’s Cameron Thompson earned the hosts a point with a late equaliser, to cancel out Danny Mandroiu's first-half strike.
Brighton’s first chance came when Mandroiu tested Fulham keeper Taye Ashby-Hammond with a strike from just outside the box.
Reece Meekums nearly got an assist when his cross was met by Archie Davies, but the latter's header went wide.
But Mandroiu broke the deadlock with a superb free-kick in the 18th minute that sailed past Ashby-Hammond.
The Irishman almost got his and Albion's second when he forced the Fulham goalkeeper into a fine save to keep out a powerful driven shot from outside the box.
But the Cottagers came close after the break, when Seagulls shot-stopper George Hobbs kept out a header from Fulham centre-back Moritz Jenz.
Albion were made to pay for their missed chances, as Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson sent over an excellent cross for Thompson, who volleyed the ball into the roof of the net to secure Fulham a share of the spoils.
