Albion defender nominated for September's award.
Brighton & Hove Albion defender Shane Duffy has been nominated for September’s Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month Award.
The centre-back helped the Seagulls to four consecutive clean sheets throughout September, as he formed a successful partnership alongside Lewis Dunk at the heart of Albion’s defence.
Albion bounced back from a 2-0 defeat to Brentford at the start of September with victories over Huddersfield Town, Burton Albion and Barnsley, before drawing 0-0 with Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
