Albion's defender is in line to face Austria this month.
Brighton & Hove Albion defender Shane Duffy has been named in the provisional Republic of Ireland squad for their FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier against Austria.
Martin O’Neill’s side currently sit joint top of Group D with seven points from three games, and will take on Austria in Vienna on Saturday 12th November.

Duffy made two full 90-minute appearances in Ireland’s victories over Georgia and Moldoca last month.
The 24-year-old has earned seven caps for his country, and made his senior debut in a 1-1 draw with Costa Rica in June 2014.
