Brighton & Hove Albion striker Sam Baldock has been shortlisted for the PFA Fans’ Championship Player of the Month award for October.
The Albion striker hit a rich vein of goalscoring form last month, after finding the net in three consecutive matches against Sheffield Wednesday, Preston North End and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The panel, led by Sky Sports football pundits, selected Baldock alongside Dwight Gayle (Newcastle United), Gary Hooper (Sheffield Wednesday), Massimo Luongo (Queens Park Rangers), Paul Gallagher (Preston North End) and Peter Whittingham (Cardiff City).
The voting closes at 6pm today and the winner will be announced at 10am on Thursday.
