Albion's striker feels there is still plenty to play for on Monday.
Brighton & Hove Albion striker Sam Baldock was defiant in the face of defeat, following the side’s 2-0 play-off semi-final first leg loss to Sheffield Wednesday.
The Seagulls had a night to forget on Friday after suffering injuries to four players, but Baldock feels the players can bounce back in the second leg at the Amex on Monday.
He said, “We’ve had a fair amount of bad luck over the last couple of weeks and quite a lot of it in Friday’s game.
“If you don’t laugh, you cry, with four key players picking up injuries and going down to ten men.
“When you look at the spells of possession, they pretty much dominated the entire game. But we showed a lot of resilience and I think they’ll be disappointed it was only two.
“We’ve got to nothing to lose now and the pressure is completely on them. We’re positive and we’re going to go for it.”

The Seagulls frontman insists the result could have been completely different had the side taken one of their early chances, the best of which fell to Tomer Hemed, who saw his header clip off the post.
“We had a few chances early on, where we hit the post and we weren’t too been far away. There wasn’t much in it and if we had gone in at half-time goalless, we would have come out in the second half feeling really positive.
“Unfortunately, what transpired in the opening few minutes of the second half was a bitter blow and we dealt with it well.
“We defended with our hearts and with pride. We knew we didn’t have to get back into the tie straight away, because we’ve got 90 minutes for them to come to the Amex with a full stadium, with screaming fans egging us on.
“Stranger things have happened. I came off the pitch, thinking ‘come on, bring on Monday’ because, believe me, this tie is not over.”
