Albion now know who they will face on the first day of the season.

Brighton & Hove Albion will begin their 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship season away at Derby County, at the iPro Stadium, on Saturday 6th August.
The full fixture list was announced at 9am this morning and the Seagulls will start their campaign away from home for the first time in three years, after hosting Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest on the opening days of the previous two campaigns respectively.

Forest are set to be Albion’s first league opponents at the Amex this season, as the East Midlands side travel to the south coast on 13th August.
The hectic Christmas schedule sees Chris Hughton’s men make the long trip north to face Blackburn Rovers on 13th December, while Queens Park Rangers visit the Amex on Boxing Day. Albion will end the year with a match at home to Cardiff City on New Year's Eve.
Bristol City are the last team to visit the Amex on the penultimate weekend of the season, before the Seagulls end their campaign away at relegated Aston Villa on Sunday 7th May.
