Albion have found out their first opponents in the EFL Cup.

Brighton & Hove Albion have been drawn at home to Colchester United in the EFL Cup first round.
Albion were one 18 seeded clubs in the southern section of the draw and will host the League Two club at the Amex during the week commencing Monday 8th August.


It will be the first meeting in over five years between the two clubs, when Ashley Barnes found the net for the Seagulls in a 1-1 draw back in April 2011.
