A look back at October from last season.
A positive start to October saw Brighton & Hove Albion extend their unbeaten run to 10 games, as Dale Stephens netted his third goal in four games to secure a point for the Seagulls in a 1-1 draw at home to Cardiff.
After a two-week international break, Brighton returned to action against Leeds at Elland Road. Bobby Zamora an 89th-minute winner to steal all three points in a 2-1 victory, ending a run of three consecutive draws.
Solly March opened the scoring for the Albion in the 14th minute, but Liam Cooper restored parity eight minutes later, leading to a tense final 10 minutes, where Albion managed to clinch the points.

Zamora was the hero once again three days’ later, after he came off the bench to score the winner in a 2-1 victory over Bristol City at the Amex.
Sam Baldock scored against his former club to cancel out an opener from Derrick Williams, before Zamora’s goal sparked scenes of jubilation in the stands to send the Seagulls four points clear at the top of the Championship.
The feel-good factor was dampened slightly just four days’ later, after Albion played out a gritty 0-0 draw with Preston North End at the Amex, in a match where Gaetan Bong picked up an injury late on.
The month’s action ended on Halloween in a 1-1 draw with Reading at the Madejski Stadium. Jamie Murphy gave Albion the lead, but Matej Vydra netted an equaliser for the Royals with 12 minutes left to play.
