Brighton 2-1 Blackburn
(28 April 1979, Division Two, Goldstone Ground)
Centre-back Andy Rollings was a rookie centre-back who was just 19 when he was signed by Brian Clough. Over time, he improved immensely into a consistent defender that was commanding in the air and strong in the tackle.
Gary Williams delivered a deep diagonal free-kick from the left-flank and Rollings met it with his head around the penalty spot. The ball seemed to take an age before looping into the near post.
