The Albion midfielder has been recognised for his brilliant goal against Bristol City.
Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Steve Sidwell has been nominated for November’s Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month Award.
The 33-year-old has been recognised for his superb 50-yard strike in Albion’s 2-0 victory over Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
Sidwell spotted Robins goalkeeper Richard O’Donnell off his line and surprised the entire stadium, and all watching live on Sky Sports, when his audacious effort found the back of the net.
The goal was also memorable for its celebration, as Albion’s players raced over to the sideline and raised Anthony Knockaert’s shirt in memory of his father.
