All you need to know ahead of Tuesday's game.
Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Queens Park Rangers to the Amex tomorrow, kick-off 12.30pm.
The penultimate home fixture of 2016 is a sell-out with over 30,000 tickets sold. This high attendance, coupled with the early kick-off time, means transport to the game will be very busy and the club is encouraging fans to arrive as early as possible to ensure you don’t miss a moment of the action.
Matchday travel update
At the time of writing, Southern have informed the club they will be providing a full matchday service. Due to the ongoing industrial dispute, fans planning to attend the match by train are strongly advised to check the Southern website before travelling to the game.
Albion fans and away supporters travelling from London are advised that a bank holiday train schedule will be in place from London Victoria to Brighton, therefore please leave plenty of time if travelling from the capital or stations en route to Brighton.
Park & Rides
The three park & rides at Mill Road, the University of Brighton and at the Racecourse will be open as usual from 9.30am.
Additional buses have also been booked at all three sites to cope with the increased demand, as well as the following additional park & ride services:
All of the parking spaces at the Sainsbury’s West Hove site have now been booked; however, fans can still walk up and use the bus service, but must book their seats at seagullstickets.com.
Sainsbury’s West Hove: Parking spaces are fully booked but the club still has 200 bus seats remaining for those able to walk to Sainsbury’s in West Hove. Bus spaces are free of charge but must be booked in advance at seagullstickets.com. This site is open from 11am.
Brendan’s Equestrian Centre at Pyecombe: There are over 100 spaces still available at this site which opens at 9.30am. This park & ride site is free to use but must be booked in advance at seagullstickets.com.
(Directions: Haresdean Farm, Pyecombe, London Rd, Brighton BN45 7ED)
Car Park B (The Bridge) has sold out for this fixture. Additional parking spaces are still available to book at Car Park C (Sussex University) at seagullstickets.com. Those that plan to use the Sussex University site must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry via Knights Gate at Falmer.
Albion's official travel partner, Seagull Travel, collects from over 120 pick-up locations covering East and West Sussex and surrounding counties. Seats can be booked via www.seagull-travel.co.uk.
Drop-offs & Pick-ups after the match
There will be no pick-ups or drop-offs along Village Way, due to the large volume of buses and coaches and additional TV broadcasting vehicles.
Therefore the club will be opening car park 5 (within Car Park C) at Sussex University by the sports hall, to enable fans to be dropped off and picked up before and after the match.
The club will endeavour to publish updates when information becomes available.
Please note that wherever possible, all fans are advised to get to the stadium as early as possible regardless of how they are travelling.
