Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club is now offering a unique opportunity for an Academy Recruitment Manager to join our well-established scouting and recruitment team.

This role will involve managing and co-ordinating a team of academy scouts to identify and recruit elite young players at the academy and pre-academy age ranges. The successful candidate will be required to scout and deliver scouting as directed by the Academy Manager. 

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our high-performing team. Candidates must have a minimum of a Talent ID Level 2 qualification. Preferably, candidates will have a Level 3 or 4 Talent ID qualification. Applicants must have extensive knowledge and experience of the football industry, rules and regulations governing players and recruitment within EPPP guidelines.

Successful candidates will possess strong IT skills to include the use of scouting technology and databases to their full potential. Candidates must also possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a good network of contacts in the professional game. Successful candidates must be able to meet strict deadlines and work calmly under pressure whilst maintaining a high quality of work. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be flexible with regards to working hours and be prepared to travel. Candidates must also hold a high level of confidentiality. 

This is a permanent role and will be required to start immediately. It will be primarily based at our state of the art training facility, the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, in Lancing, West Sussex.
