Albion's under-23s begin their season at the Riverside.

Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s begin the new Premier League 2 Division 2 season against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium tonight, kick-off 7pm.

The Seagulls will open their campaign away to the Teessiders, who were relegated from Division 1 last season.

Simon Rusk could give debuts to a number of summer arrivals, including Sam Adekugbe, who joined on a season-long loan from Vancouver Whitecaps, and former Motherwell defender Ben Hall.

Tyler Hornby-Forbes could also make his first Albion appearace following his summer transfer from Fleetwood Town.


In line with competition rules, Albion will have the option of fielding an overage goalkeeper and three outfield players who exceed the age limit.
