The post-match reaction from yesterday's game.

CHRIS HUGHTON is pleased with the quality of the wingers in his squad and feels that Jamie Murphy and Kazenga LuaLua have both staked claims for regular places in the team, following a 4-0 victory over Colchester.
The duo put in a fine display on either flank as the Seagulls ran out comfortable winners in the EFL Cup.
He said, “They just need to keep doing what they’re doing. I have also got Solly [March] in that position too, and I’ve got good options in the wide areas.
“Playing a game on Saturday and then on Tuesday gives me good options to change things, but we’re really strong and good in those areas.
“It ended up being a really good 90-minute run-out for them [LuaLua and Murphy].
“It wasn’t just the work they did offensively, but they also had young full backs behind them and were prepared to help and track back. Both of them worked very hard.”
The Seagulls boss also praised the performance from Elvis Manu, who scored his first goal for the club, and debutant Oliver Norwood.
“He’s [Manu] improved in that pre-season period. We took him a few days before the last summer window closed and he has benefitted from having a full pre-season with us. That has shown in his game and he’s managed to have an impact.
“Oliver showed some really good phases in his game; he is good on the ball and has a lovely eye for a pass. For those who didn’t know what type of player he was, you saw that on Tuesday.”

JOHN MCGREAL was left disappointed to concede four goals in the final 25 minutes against Brighton & Hove Albion, and feels many mistakes are being repeated from last season.

After a tense opening hour of the game, Chris Hughton’s men eventually claimed an emphatic 4-0 victory and McGreal was frustrated with the way his team capitulated.
He told, "On 65 minutes, I was quite pleased and generally I thought the shape and positions we were getting into were excellent and the game plan was working.
"However, they've got quality players in attacking areas who can hurt anyone and they soon got their second and third goals.
"We need to regroup, as we've conceded one and then conceded more. It's sadly happened again after what we saw last season, so we've got to stop that.
"We know that at times you're going to concede goals, but it's how you react to that.
"We didn't react in the right manner, but equally you do wonder how we lost by four.
"It's proved that we have still got work to do on the training ground, but I know the players will come in on Thursday chomping at the bit to get it right and they've already said they're keen to get back to it later this week."
