The two defenders are in line to face Southend at Roots Hall.

Connor Goldson and Uwe Huenemeier are both in the squad for Brighton & Hove Albion’s match against Southend United in the Checkatrade Trophy this evening, kick-off 7.45pm.
Goldson is available to make his first appearance since picking up a knee injury during pre-season, with Huenemeier also travelling to Roots Hall, after featuring in the first team’s EFL Cup tie at Oxford United.
Ben White will be part of the squad taking on the Shrimpers, and although Solly March played twice for Simon Rusk’s team last week, the winger is not expected to make the trip to Essex.

Rusk’s side are unbeaten so far this season and picked up their first league victory last Friday, with Joe Ward’s stoppage-time goal sealing a 1-0 win over Fulham at the Amex.
Albion opened the campaign with back-to-back stalemates, drawing 0-0 with Middlesbrough at the Riverside, before Jesse Starkey’s opener was cancelled out in a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa at the Stadium.
Tonight will be Brighton's first game in the re-branded competition, with a trip to Stevenage in October preceding a final group game against Leyton Orient at the Amex the following month.
ALBION (probable squad): Sanchez (GK), Vose (GK), Hornby-Forbes, Goldson, Huenemeier, Cadman, White, Barclay, Hall, Cox, Hutchinson, Molumby, Starkey, Ward, Collar, Tighe, Harper, Tilley.
