Adam Lallana has been impressed by Albion's recent form.

Adam Lallana reckons some of his teammates must be bored of his shouting, but he wouldn't have it any other way.

The 32-year-old can often be heard giving out instructions and encouragement during matches regardless of whether he's playing or not.

“You've got to take advantage of the fact that there are no fans in the stadium. When they're in there it's harder to give encouragement or help out.

“Some people might be sick and tired of my voice, but it's something I've grown up doing. When people praise me it gives me a bit of confidence. So I try and help my teammates, even if it's just a little bit of praise.

Lallana on winning mentality

“I can't help myself at times, I am quite emotional and get involved – I just like to see my teammates doing well.

“It's just important that we try to help each other because we want what's best for the team.”

Albion's consistent performances have seen them take ten points from their last four Premier League matches.

“We've had some low moments this season when we've felt we have played well but not got the results. You can feel sorry for yourself, but the reality is you need to do more.

Even if that's half a percent from everyone, that's ten percent. We've done that and now we are getting the rewards.

“It's important that we maintain the standards we have set and that we don't slip off just because we have had a few good results. We are all responsible.

The former Liverpool man puts Albion's recent good form down to a change in mentality among the squad.

“When people aren't playing they’re training harder and when you create that environment it breeds hard work and success.

“The squad looks very strong if you look at the bench and the lads that are coming back from injury. It helps get better results.”
