O'GRADY HEADS OUT ON LOAN

1 September 2015

Brighton & Hove Albion striker Chris O'Grady has joined his hometown club Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan deal.

Albion manager Chris Hughton commented, "We haven't been able to give Chris the amount of opportunities in the Championship that he will get at Nottingham Forest.

"He is a great professional, and has been good to work with since I came here in January. On behalf of everyone at the club I would like to wish Chris well at Forest, for the season ahead."

O'Grady - whose contract with Albion runs until the end of next season - won't be eligible for Forest when the Seagulls visit the City Ground on 9th April 2016.

The 29-year-old joined Albion from Barnsley last summer and made 23 starts for the Seagulls, and hit three goals - including a memorable strike against Arsenal at the Amex in the FA Cup.

He also spent part of last season on loan with Sheffield United.
