ATTEND ALBION’S GAME FOR MATT AND JACOB

8 September 2015

Tickets are still available for Brighton & Hove Albion’s game with Hull City on Saturday at the Amex, the fixture where the club will pay tribute to Matt Grimstone, Jacob Schilt and all those lost in the Shoreham Air Show disaster.

The club is dedicating the home fixture against Hull to the memory of all 11 victims of last month’s tragedy, including Albion groundsman Matt and Seagulls fan Jacob - who were travelling together en-route to play for Worthing United on the day of the crash.

Worthing United paid their tributes to Matt and Jacob when they hosted East Preston in the FA Vase on Sunday, with over 1000 people filling Lyons Way.

A minute’s applause was held prior to kick-off and a 32-page tribute programme and Matt & Jacob scarves were sold at the game, with all proceeds going towards the Worthing United fund for the families, along with all proceeds from the gate receipts.

In what is sure to be an emotional occasion at the Amex this Saturday, the club are encouraging Albion fans to arrive early to pay their respects, with numerous tributes planned prior to kick-off, starting from approximately 2.30pm.

Supporters who wish to attend the game can purchase tickets in person at the Amex Ticket Office, online or via the Albion Booking Line on 0844 327 1901.

There is a £1.50 per ticket booking fee for telephone and in-person sales, while an additional charge of £1 per ticket applies to online purchases where tickets are collected, online tickets bought through print at home are exempt from booking fees.
