Revell: Former Seagull and current Cardiff City striker Alex Revell was on target for the Millers in a 1-1 draw at the Amex last season.

Opposite: The two sides currently sit at opposite ends of the table in this top-versus-bottom clash.

Two: The Millers have just two points from their opening six games.

Head-to-head: Both sides have 16 wins each in the overall head-to-head record, while a further 15 games have ended all square.

Edgy: Neither club has managed to score more than one goal in each of the last six meetings between the teams, since a 2-0 Brighton win in March 2003.

Richardson: Neil Richardson was on target for the Millers in their last win away at Brighton in November 1997.

Halford: Former Albion loanee Greg Halford joined the Millers on a free transfer in July.

Away win: The Millers have failed to pick up a win in each of their last eight league games on the road, dating back to a 2-0 victory at Huddersfield in March.

Matt: Matt Derbyshire scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win for Rotherham against Albion in April 2015.
