Brighton & Hove Albion wing man Liam Rosenior believes that the key to achieving success this season is down to the squad's ongoing improvement.
Albion have made a great start to the season, but Rosenior says if the team are to maintain their excellent form it is vital that they don't rest on their laurels.
He told seagulls.co.uk, "You can always improve. If you're top of the Championship or top of the Premier League, you're always going to look to improve and get better because if you don't teams will overtake you.
"We've put ourselves in a position where if we don’t look to improve, and we’re happy where we are, then we'll find ourselves falling down the pecking order.
"It's really important, regardless of where your league position is, you always look to be better and I think that's the exciting thing here.
"People like Solly March, at 21, performing as he did in the second half against Cardiff, have got so much potential. I'm 31 and I've got things to improve on as well, so it doesn't matter what age you are, you can always look to get better."
"We go into the match and try and get a foothold in the game; more often than not we have done that. We just need to make sure that we stay on the front foot and be positive whether we’re home or away.
"If you look at the stats in the Premier League and the Championship, when you score the first goal the likelihood of your team winning is very high. We're always looking to play for three points and that's a really enjoyable thing about being at Brighton."
