FERRET'S LEEDS TIPS

15 October 2015

Match: Leeds v Albion

Prices: Albion 13/10, Leeds 21/10, Draw 9/4.

Last-time out: For the third consecutive match Chris Hughton’s men had to be content with a point – this time against Russell Slade’s Cardiff. However they demonstrated resilience by coming from behind for the first time this season.  For Albion’s hosts Leeds, their horrific home run continued with a demoralising defeat to Birmingham at Elland Road. Leeds had 67% of possession but found former Albion stopper Tomas Kuszczak at the top of his form.
Form: They say don’t look at the table until 10 games have elapsed. Well that figure has now been reached and Albion remain top and undefeated. By contrast, Leeds have now not won at home for seven months.

Result: The outright odds are a little skinny in what could potentially be a tight match. However Brighton to win by two goals (13/2) is overpriced for the possibility and offers great reward should we see a dominant Albion performance.

Goalscorer tips: For the time being, with Chris Hughton’s forward options fluid, I’m happy to stick with Gaetan Bong (40/1).  Additionally, No Goalscorer (15/ 2) could represent some value if Leeds adopt spoiling tactics.
