Brighton & Hove Albion chief executive Paul Barber says that recent surveys by the BBC and Football League shows that the club is offering offering an excellent matchday experience, which is great value for money.
Barber said, "Matchdays at the Amex provide an unrivalled experience for both home and away fans, and the fact we have had one of the the highest average crowds in the Championship since we moved to the stadium, suggests our ticket pricing is affordable and good value for money.
"Alongside the BBC's findings, the Football League's own recent matchday gate analysis calculated the average price paid by fans coming to Albion matches last season was £20.68."

He also pointed out, Albion are in the unique position of including matchday travel to and from the stadium, adding, "Whenever we see these surveys, it's important to take into account that our prices are always slightly skewed given the innovative travel and transport system we operate for every league match.
"Once the cost of travel is deducted, our average ticket price is very much in line with the Championship and wider Football League average prices.
"Also add in the additional benefits - such as access to free wifi and padded VIP seats for home and visiting fans, and with further benefits for season-ticket holders such as our interest-free direct-debit payment system - we feel we provide a very good experience at an affordable and value-for-money price to our supporters."
