Albion in the Community’s annual bike ride recently announced its 2016 destination as Brussels and fans can sign up now to take part!
For the last two years the fundraising event has set off from the Amex and ended in Paris, but the 2016 ride will now be bigger and better than ever as cyclists will head from Brighton to Brussels.
With an extra 100 miles to cycle this time, the 230-mile ride will be broken down into three days, with the peloton of cyclists departing from the Amex Stadium on Friday 10th June, travelling through the picturesque medieval town of Bruges, before arriving in the Belgium capital on Sunday 12th June.
The 2015 event proved a huge success – with more than 60 riders helping to raise tens of thousands of pounds towards AITC’s award-winning disability sports programme – but the plan is to make next year’s challenge the biggest and best yet.
