FERRET'S BURNLEY TIPS

20 November 2015

Match: Burnley v Albion

Prices: Albion 2/1, Burnley 7/5, Draw 11/5 withSky Bet.

Last-time out: Brighton defeated MK Dons in a game that turned out to be much tougher than the 2-0 lead after 19 minutes suggested. However, the 2-1 half-time lead meant a payout for followers of this column. Meanwhile, the Clarets extended their unbeaten run to seven matches with a dour scoreless draw at Wolves.

Form: Having gone a club record 17 games unbeaten, Albion are looking to further consolidate their automatic promotion position, while Burnley are looking to steal it. This match will determine who ends the week inside the top two. The Clarets are just two points adrift of the Seagulls, and none of the sides playing on Saturday are able to catch Brighton.

Result: It's another top-of-the table clash for Chris Hughton's side, the third in recent weeks. Albion are the underdogs and should be recognised as such, but that does not mean they cannot continue their run. Sky Bet have the outright prices about right and typically, as other prices are ultimately derived from the outrights - that means value is thin on the ground this week.

Brighton to win by two goals is 9/1 - and that is at least a point greater than it should be.  However, other than that there is nothing which stands out and so it is best to keep our powder dry this week and enjoy the match without the additional adrenaline rush!

Goalscorer tips: With the Albion starting line-up fluid, there is also no obvious value in any of the goalscorer markets.
